What is your favorite theory?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 17, 2008:

I am working with an old Egyptian chakra system. i read about it in a book, and combined music theory on top of it... to begin exploring some amazing things.

the system centers on... twelve chakras up the spine, tailbone to the crown. when i read about it I was working with music in a lot of new ways, and i just started mapping what i was learning on top...

It is really quite amazing. basically, it is rather simple to play 'chords' of chakras... by choosing one to begin with, and then using the same pattern that creates major chords in music (using whichever chakra you start as 1... count up five... and then three more to the eighth above the first one... if you are starting high up, go from the crown to the tail and continue from beneath.)

so The system goes

tail
pelvis
navel
solar plexus
heart
lungs
throat
chin
nosetip
eyebrow
forehead
crown

the first chord...
tail
heart
chin
this is a major chakra chord.

the first step involves focusing on them. to do so, it is necessary to access them in some way. it is ideal to feel them, but if that isn't natural yet, you can imagine acorresponding color, and or a corresponding pitch. i have been associateing images, little yantras... with each, and this also helps.

The more directions you activate the chakra from.. .the more clearly it resonates.

by focusing on the eigth chakra above the starting point... stability is created. This is often accompanied by a shudder (for me) as my energy realigns and releases thoughts or feelings that are 'out of tune' with this chord.

then, once these two balance... the fifth up can be brought into awareness. Again it is ideal to feel it, but touching the area involved also helps... that way the mind can learn to focus on one chakra, as the other two are awakened by a hand resting there.

This last of the three 'notes' stimulates the expression of that chord.

It is pretty powerful stuff. Migraines disappear easily, and chaotic psychic energies are channelled with much more grace (than I used to experience). also, it calms the rest of the chakras to be working with three at once... all in a vibrational balance that feels.... 'in tune'.

thus the noise receeds, and each 'chord' takes on its own personality, allowing energy to move through the body more gracefully than it used to (for me), and offering unique insists about this bodies health and potential that i only begin to understand.

So I've been working with this for a year now. I do healing sessions with it, and the results are guite.. impacting. Seems to work over any distance... i get clear insight on someone from afar... and can even influence the movement of energy... with permission. I am excited to continue to explore it, and if anyone would like to learn more... please ask.

Much love

Kaiya

Your passion of healing to the chakras are most wonderful to hear.
But, when doing a cleansing of the chakras, isn't one to start at the top of the head,..drawing in the richness from the universe, then work down, so that any negativity of your body is then released into the ground?
This cleansing is then to be cleansed back into the earth cycle.

I do love the idea of putting these energies to a light of music…..must try that one!!

Thanks Kaiya

“V” and love be with you,

Hi Kaiya,
Very interesting and believable.  How do you access the music?  Could this be transformed into a guided meditation?

Yes, I'm using it for internal guided meditations, and exploring healing sessions based on it. Basically we focus on an issue, discern from which chakra it may be approached, tune that key, and begin following the felt sensations and images/that come up.
i have done simple savasana meditations at the end of Yoga class using this system, to good effect. Only just starting really.
My primary relationship to them is felt, I feel the energy and balance them that way. But someone with perfect pitch could, I presume, approach them first musically, root C, 12 note chromatic scale up the spine with B at the crown.
I do have a sense however, that I'm really only skirting the surface of what is possible. I've gotten into intensities that I am just barely comfortable with though, and just getting a key tuned is as far as i get in those states. once it becomes more natural, and I've done the ground work more thoroughly, I presume 'playing' them will come more easily, with lots of magic to come…
Mum,Inner chi is music.

in the case of your…. concern… that we 'only' work down, drawing energy from above… i find that this isn't always in tune with my experience. I draw a lot of chi up from the earth like water, and I'm actually not nearly as good at it as i would like to be. but i do trust this chi deeply, and it has its own role clearing me… that I only begin to understand.
I do know that there have been certain harsh energies that I have only been able to dissipate by staring straight into the sun… try as I might… I couldn't release them down.

they didn't belong 'down'
there are indeed certain energies, that are most suited for going down. when I tune a chord, such energies sometimes come to the surface, and I drop them to a black chakra in my feet  and am learning to interact with the earth energies to balance them… sometimes to be recycled and reused, sometimes I just can't handle them and they go into the earth.
There is a lot of room for exploration here. I presume that the guide from whom you learned to only clear down… was focusing… only… on the kinds of energies that do indeed need to be cleared down.

If you would like to continue with their focus alone… This doesn't mean you can't use a chakra chord. the inner chi's are always flowing down, and up, then around our aura. when our attention intends to use the downward flow to clear… we can still be attuning a home chakra with its balance (8th up… which often ends up being below the home chakra…)

once this is in balance, we can bring in the fifth from home.
there is much that won't make sense untill you try it.
Much Love.

And you for yours.
'fraid I am self-conscious about this work, and felt a bit defensive about your comment Mum. Please excuse any harshness in my reply.
I have travelled a bunch, and read a bunch, and I have not found guides who are exploring some of the areas I'm learning in.
Human guides.
the learning I'm doing is full of guidance, it is just disembodied, leaving its own room for doubt. I grow so much this way that I keep following it… but there is a lingering sense of 'is this really me learning all these things… can i really embody these gifts…?' I want to do it in a more child like fasion, to encourage ideas and sharing and break down the implication that teachers are between us and God, which I have found to be very disempowering. I don't ever want to do that role with someone else.
But then i get defesive if it seems someone isn't respecting my approach… its a tough balance.
Thanks for your attention and love. What does *V* mean?
Witch? (that's a compliment… : )
